Mooihoek Zama zamas denied bail
The suspects are Clement Chris Khoza (39), Jacob Daniel Khoza ( 20), Granny Makola (30) and John Msiza (34).
BURGERSFORT – Four alleged illegal miners who were arrested by members of the Provincial Organised Crime Unit appeared before the Praktiseer Magistrate’s Court last Friday.
The zama zamas were caught red handed mining Chrome in Mooihoek on Thursday (May 7).
The suspects are Clement Chris Khoza (39), Jacob Daniel Khoza ( 20), Granny Makola (30) and John Msiza (34).
During their arrest,police confiscated one truck with a trailer and a Mercedes Benz C220.

The suspects appeared before the court on charges of of illegal mining and possession of suspected stolen chrome. They were all denied bail and their case was remanded to May 15 for a formal bail application and further SAPS investigation.
