Accident on Samora Machel Drive claims a pedestrian’s life
According to a source, the accident was not a hit-and-run as was speculated earlier as the driver of the vehicle involved is at the scene.
Traffic along Samora Machel Drive was brought to a virtual standstill this afternoon when a pedestrian died after being hit by a motorist.
The police and traffic enforcement officials are still at the scene and ER24 emergency medical personnel responded at about 14:04. It is not clear at this stage what caused the accident.
