In 1997, Riverview Preparatory and Preschool started with a handful of learners in a private house after a need for an English Christian school in the Onderberg area was identified.

It is now a beautiful and well-established school, situated on a picturesque farm with beautiful views 2km outside Malalane on the N4.

With high academic expectations, passionate staff and a holistic approach to education, Riverview strives to develop well-rounded individuals while focusing on developing each child’s unique character. Riverview sets high standards with its compulsory sports in the prep school, exposing all children to a variety of sports throughout the year.

The arts are promoted and many children enrol in the annual eisteddfod. Every year, the prep and preschool perform plays, in which all children have a role.

Classes are small and lessons are taught in a fun yet structured learning environment. If need be, children have the convenience of attending speech, physio- and occupational therapy sessions on-site.
