The electricity supply will be interrupted in the Riverside precincts and surrounding areas in Mbombela over the weekend, in order for maintenance work to the electrical network to be conducted.

According to the City of Mbombela’s Department of Energy, the outage will last from Saturday October 16 at 22:00 to Sunday October 17 at 10:00.

The department said emergency maintenance work has to be done on their equipment, and minor maintenance work on the electrical network.

The areas that will be affected are the following:
• Riverside Mall
• Government Complex
• Emnotweni
• Government offices
• Southern Sun Emnotweni
• Riverside Value Mart
• Stay Easy Lodge
• Riverside Garden Complex.
