No new developments in the Ned Sturgeon murder
The family have yet to set the date for beloved Ned's celebration of life.
Edwin Sturgeon, widely known as Ned, was killed in his Barberton home on October 19 where his domestic worker found him the following day.
The police are investigating a case of murder and robbery, but have not relayed any new information since the case was opened.

Col Donald Mdhluli, a provincial police spokesperson, said, “Once there are developments, our office will issue a media statement.”
Preliminary evidence suggests Sturgeon was hacked to death with a panga that was also found on the scene.
Within the Barberton community the mourning has been portrayed through community members decorating the gate at Sturgeon’s home with flowers.
