Support the Home4Paws Golf Day

Wealthsure stepped in to organise a golf day to secure funding for the Home4Paws Animal Rescue.

It will take place at the Tubatse Golf Club on Saturday November 27. The first tee-off is at 07:30.

While talking with the owner, Cathy Schutte, Marice Lubbe and the rest of the team at Wealthsure came up with an excellent idea to help the dogs and cats that are waiting to be adopted. “We have created a website called ‘Home4Paws virtual fostering’.

Michelle Munnik is fostering Moses. His leg was amputated after his rescue in Steelpoort. Cathy Schutte always has a smile on her face, but her bank statements tell another story. This rescue is one of the Home4Paws success stories.

This will be launched on golf day. Instead of asking people to adopt one of the animals, people can foster them virtually. Patrons can have a look at the website, choose as many dogs as they want to, and can commit to donating an amount on a monthly basis to feed and take care of their virtual foster pets.

This virtual fostering process is much more convenient than physically adopting a new pet,” Lubbe. Lubbe said there is still time for sponsorships and business branding on the golf course.

The golf day has a better ball format and will be R300 per person and R2 000 per sponsor[1]ship of a waterhole. Golfers should also please bring dog food as part of their entrance fee.

Enquiries: Marice Lubbe on 082 545 5392, Marna on 082 829 1819, or Maureen on 076 061 6615. Tubaste Golf Club waived their green fees for the day and all the proceeds will go to the Home4Paws Animal Rescue.
