IN PHOTOS: First day of school start of journey

Schools in Nkomazi area were excited to greet all their new grade one learners who started their school adventure on Wednesday January 12.

Many parents battled to hide their tears as their children began this seven-year adventure.

Grade ones of Komatipoort Akademie, Riverview Preparatory, Laerskool Numbi and Sihlangu Primary School took on their first day with big, bright smiles.

Their parents had the opportunity to meet the teachers and to see the classrooms.
