PCA gears up for Ride for a Child charity event
The charity ride is set to depart on February 13, and the bikers are scheduled to return to Mbombela on March 6.
The annual Ride for a Child charity event by Pediatric Care Africa (PCA) is back again this February, in a bid to raise funds for children in need of urgent medical help.
The charity ride will see the PCA founder, Dr André Hattingh, and several supporters of PCA travel 7 000 kilometres by motorbike across the country to raise medical funding for children needing it the most.
The charity ride is set to depart on February 13, and the bikers are scheduled to return to Mbombela on March 6.

The Ride for a Child initiative started at the beginning of 2020, following the pandemic. Hattingh said that because they could no longer hold golf days and other charity events to raise funds due to Covid, he had to think outside the box, which was how this event was born.
The team will be travelling around all the country borders in the hopes of raising funds for 70 life-changing surgeries for children this year.
