Rob Ferreira matrics shine brightly

The school had a 99.3% pass rate with only one failure for the year.

Hoërskool Rob Ferreira saw 102 distinctions from its matriculants of 2021 as well as a pupil with eight distinctions.
The school had a 99.3% pass rate with only one failure for the year.

Rob Ferreira’s Martiens le Roux received a 90.8% average, garnering eight distinctions in English, mathematics, accounting, life science, physical science, life orientation, EGD (engineering graphics and design) and alpha mathematics.

Matriculant Dasha du Toit received seven distinctions with an average of 88.4%. She also came first in the province for geography.

Gohann du Toit achieved six distinctions with an average mark of 86.6%.

Other pupils who received six distinctions are Umaimah Gani and Lanique Oberholzer.

Two pupils, Xongile Maakana and Delight Bvekerwa, achieved five distinctions.

The school said that five matrics achieved four distinctions, two learners had three and seven pupils had two distinctions.

Another 19 pupils received one distinction each.
