Fokofpolisiekar draws hundreds of Lowvelders to show

An utterly electrifying performance by South African legends Fokofpolisiekar drew hundreds of Lowvelders to Blue Moon on January 29.

Scores of audience members crowded around the stage, dancing, singing, cheering and jumping around as Fokofpolisiekar’s front man, Francois van Coke, encouraged the fans.

The band, well-known for its powerful and energetic performances, consistently engaged with its audience throughout the show, jumping into the awestruck crowd at times.

Van Coke even sang “happy birthday” to a star-struck fan.

The show kicked off at 19:00 and the band belted out several of its older and newer songs to the delight of the audience.
