Friend’s Café hosts its first market to widespread joy

The market was held on the grounds of the café on Sunday February 27 and ran from 09:00 until 13:00.

Friend’s Café hosted its first market over the weekend with resounding success.

The market was held on the grounds of the café on Sunday February 27 and ran from 09:00 until 13:00, garnering a large crowd of visitors, eager to see what it had to offer.

By 10:00, the parking space at the café was completely full and cars began parking on the outside verge of the restaurant.

Marketgoers were treated to live music and a variety of handmade crafts and goodies such as children’s toys, jewellery, custom-made handbags and clothing, pottery and stained glass decorations.

The visitors also had the option to grab a takeaway coffee from the café while perusing the crafts on offer, or have a sit-down meal after finishing their shopping.
