SANParks offers several public-private partnership investment opportunities
SANParks intends to implement six public-private partnerships in which it will grant selected private parties the rights to several options.
SANParks recently announced the following investment opportunities for public-private partnerships:
Skukuza Safari Lodge in Kruger National Park:
Opportunity for a private party to operate the Skukuza Safari Lodge and the Nombolo Mdhluli Conference Centre in the Kruger National Park through a management agreement for a period of 10 years. Bid submission date: August 19, 2022, at 11:00. Tender documentation will be available from the SANParks website, under the ”Tenders” section: https://www.sanparks.org/groups/tenders/. Spa facility in the Golden Gate Highlands National Park:
Opportunity for a private party to operate a spa facility in the Golden Gate Highlands National Park for a period of 10 years. Enquiries: Banele Malie, project officer, banele.malie@sanparks.org.
Kiosk and curio shop facility in the Golden Gate Highlands National Park:
Opportunity for a private party to operate a kiosk and curio shop at the Dinosaur Interpretation Centre in the Golden Gate Highlands National Park for a period of eight years. Enquiries: Banele Malie, project officer, banele.malie@sanparks.org.
Cape Point tourism facilities in the Table Mountain National Park:
Opportunity for a private party to operate the Cape Point’s tourism facilities, including a restaurant, three retail shops and funicular offerings within the southern section of Table Mountain National Park for a period of 40 years. Restaurant and retail facility in the Augrabies Falls National Park:
