Nkomazi Kruger Lodge – the ultimate prescription for relaxation

The constant exposure to the noise of this world, people, social media and the insatiable demand for more, better and bigger, gets the better of all of us. Our bodies, our souls cry out for a sabbatical that will recoup our capacity to be ourselves and to bring value to whatever we do.

The Nkomazi Kruger Lodge and the Paradise Creek Lodge are conveniently situated on the N4. “They have been designed to present almost zero noise pollution and are open 24/7, 365 days of the year and we are ready to incubate your sabbatical,” said the general manager of operations at Nkomazi Kruger, Reiz Ullah.

Nature and the enchantment of the African bush have inspired the design and layout of both these venues – its animals and the Big 5 in particular.“ Our focus is on the local market and being only a short distance from Mozambique, both these lodges offer a convenient stopover between Mozambique and Swaziland. We offer open top guided game drives into the Kruger Park, a spa with service and body treatments to die for and, of course, world-class cuisine in our restaurants.

What sets us apart, though, is that you can check in safely 24 hours a day. Our newly established events venue at Paradise Creek can accommodate up to 400 people inside and 400 outside. This makes us the logical choice for big functions because the venue offers space for intimate and open functions simultaneously.

At the Sugar Train Restaurant, legend has it that there is a shooter that needs to be consumed every time a train passes by, but guests will have to find out for themselves whether this legend holds any truth to it. And then, while you wait for that train, you can explore one of our many signature cocktails and a vast selection of Portuguese dishes on offer.

At Paradise Events, we can accommodate large numbers of guests, but the Lowveld has, as yet, not really discovered the facility.

The world-renowned Leopard Creek golf course is only but a-hole-in-one distance from these lodges, should you not be able to keep your hands off one of your favourite golf clubs. Should that be intimidating, the nine-hole Malelane course is, if you are brave enough, literally within walking distance and offers the perfect opportunity to clear your head.

For the more adventurous – you can drown out the noise with a microlight flight, quad biking, an underground mining tour, or better still, get soaking wet and scared in a rubber canoe and dangerous river rapids. This will reactivate your zest for life again. There is more but then, we would encourage you to come explore these for yourself. We also offer kayaking and horse riding.

Take note: Partaking in any of these activities will activate your taste buds unlike you have ever experienced, and the only remedy will be to order our famous signature dish, the Mozambican prawns.

The numbers – 066 085 5687/066 085 0027 for reservations, is your ticket to all of the above.

Phone us before the train passes and we ring the bell.

Nkomazi Kruger Lodge & Spa now open for bookings! For an experience like no other.
