Man injured in accident on Sekhukhune Road
Hydraulic equipment was used to retrieve a man from his vehicle.
On Sunday November 20 at 01:17 a head-on collision between a Toyota Corolla driver and a truck driver resulted in the former being treated for serious injuries.
The accident occurred on the Sekhukhune Road (R577), about 9km after the Roossenekal turn-off.
Thaba Chweu Emergency Services had to use hydraulic equipment to cut the driver out of his Corolla.
The truck driver was uninjured.
The Corolla driver was stabilised on the scene before being transported to Lydenburg Hospital.
