A festive summer market was held at the NG Kerk-Suid on Saturday.

With scores of various stalls to peruse throughout the day, the visitors were treated to an array of handcrafted products, from custom-made soaps shaped like doughnuts, hand-woven baskets, original paintings by Lowveld artists, tablecloths and decorations, to delicious pancakes, boerewors rolls and other delectable snacks.

While the weather seemed to threaten the day with a possible storm in the morning, the sunshine luckily persisted, and visitors and stallholders could shop and trade without fear of any rain.

The market was well supported and enjoyed by those who attended.
