Dignitaries visit DJ’s bereaved

Bahula was accompanied by the chief whip, Mosedi Thamaga, the speaker of the council, Judy Nkgadima Mphelane, and some of the councillors.

The mayor of the Makhuduthamaga Local Municipality (MLM), Cllr Minah Bahula, told the family of Oupa ‘DJ Sumbody’ Sefoka to stay strong. Bahula visited DJ Sumbody’s family in Ga-Masemola last Thursday.

“We are pained by your loss. A promising young life was cut short. The municipality also joins all his fans, friends, family and colleagues in the entertainment business in the mourning of his sudden and gruesome departure from the land of the living. Sefoka was killed early last Saturday in Johannesburg.

“We are therefore here as a government, although with heavy hearts, to offer our sympathy and demonstrate our support and love,” said Bahula.

She was accompanied by the chief whip, Mosedi Thamaga, the speaker of the council, Judy Nkgadima Mphelane, and some of the councillors.

DJ Sumbody was buried on Saturday at the Apel Cross Cemetery in Ga-Masemola, Ward 29 of MLM.
