Market-goers enjoy entrepreneurial spirit in White River

The festive Christmas market boasted a variety of locally made and sourced products and gifts, perfect for the holiday season.

White River Square hosted a memorable and magical Christmas market on Friday afternoon, December 16.

The event went on into the early evening, allowing market-goers some respite from the hot Lowveld summer.

Held in the back parking lot of the square, the guests were treated to a host of stalls neatly packed in rows, selling various handmade items, from 3D-printed dragons, custom denim jackets, plush toys, and of course, food – the market had it all.

Stallholders and visitors did not let the load-shedding get them down, and with some live entertainment from local songbird Debbie Kriel, there was no fear of a loss of festive cheer.
