SABIE: 10:30 – Protesters gathered in town this morning and warned police and security that if they are not allowed to march down the main street, they will turn violent.

More than a thousand protesters are currently kneeling before the municipal buildings, edging closer to a small group of police officers and the town centre. This follows after various threats to boycott the town of Sabie

The protest relates to a service delivery memorandum which was handed over to the Thaba Chweu Municipality during the previous strike that took place in September 2015.
