The head of the Mpumalanga Hawks said they are now looking for the people who supplied the drugs to the accused.

The Nelspruit Magistrate’s Court remanded two men who had been found in possession of controlled medications, steroids and drugs in custody on Friday, January 24.

Nkosi said the preliminary investigation revealed that Bailly is an employee at the shop, while Roets is a friend who had paid him a visit. The shop owner could not be reached for comment.
“Further investigation led the team to the suspects’ residences where substances believed to be drugs, including Cat, ecstasy, LSD, morphine and dagga to the value of R25 000 were recovered,” said the provincial Hawks’ spokesperson, Lieutenant Colonel, Magonseni Nkosi.
The Hawks’ provincial head, Major General Nico Gerber, committed to intensify investigations to establish the origin of these substances. “Our team will do its best to clamp down on the supplier(s) to save the lives of innocent South Africans,” said Gerber.
