A female student died in a tragic accident this afternoon, October 29, when she was struck by a white Haval SUV at the entrance to the Kishugu Training Academy.

It is believed she had been waiting at the gate when the incident occurred.

Martin Jeffrey of Emer-G-Med confirmed that they received the call at 13:40.

“When we arrived, we found that she was still under the vehicle and was declared dead at the scene,” Jeffrey said.

The organisation then alerted SAPS and forensic services, who took over the scene for further investigation.

Kishugu Training Academy was not available for comment at the time of publication.
