Another successful Bagdad Farmers’ Market

This was the second farmers' market and locals agree that it's getting bigger and bigger.

WHITE RIVER- Market lovers were up bright and early for another successful Bagdad Farmers’ Market at the Bagdad Centre on Saturday morning.

The cold didn’t deter Lowvelders from enjoying great craft beer and delicious food. Those who weren’t in the mood for eating or drinking, could browse through homemade crafts, jams, jewellery and much more. Learners of the Casterbridge Music Development Academy performed in the background just to add some atmosphere to the event.

This was the second farmers’ market and locals agree that it’s getting bigger and bigger. Different stalls can be seen at each market and the aim is to give all local exhibitors a chance to exhibit their goods.
Bring your family, your friends and your dog along for the next marketon August 8.

You don’t want to miss this. A market like this brings the community together and give locals the chance to experience some great local culture.
