Local rapper rising to stardom

“I absolutely wowed the crowd, I know its tough to make it in this industry but my morale is high now. It’s always an honour seeing people dancing to your music. My only challenge is to keep up the standard and to make sure I don’t disappoint my fans in future. My track smoke is a hit, there is no party without this track,” he told Steelburger/Lydenburg News.

BURGERSFORT – Khutso Motswiane (19), aka Khing Row Mnails Mot, has taken Tubatse by storm and is currently the talk of the town. His hit song “Down to earth” is getting airplay on local radio stations and in taverns and at beach parties.

Only a few music pundits believed in this young lad when he first took to the stage during the recent Tubatse summer festival at Burgersfort Laerskool

Some mumbled before hearing what this hip-hop rapper could do. But minutes after he performed his songs, other rappers went to him and applauding his talent.

Some exclaimed “the boy is good”, nodding their heads while others were seen whispering to one another about his talent. The crowd also went berserk as they sang with him during his performances. A few months after the festival, he started receiving numerous calls from people who wanted him to perform at their gigs.

Khing Row is known for releasing hits such as “Lost”, and “”Grace”. On January 1, he released his latest single titled “Intro”. Born at Maabocha village outside Burgersfort, Khing Row attended Thabane Primary School, and did his matric at Nkota Secondary School.
