BREAKING NEWS: Jathira Fuel Station hit by armed robbers

BARBERTON – Four suspects attempted to bomb an ATM machine at Jathira Fuel Station on the R40 in the early hours of this morning.  According to Hi-Tech Barberton security official Rian Prinsloo, the three armed suspects got out of a silver Nissan Murano while the driver waited in the car.

“One suspect was armed with what looked like an R5, and the other two had 9mm handguns on them.”  The men held up the staff at gunpoint while they attempted to bomb the ATM machine which is situated in the shop.

“They failed to open the ATM, so they robbed the till of over R4 000 cash and  fled the scene.”  The suspects were seen driving out towards Barberton.
