According to Verna, Mienke will never be able to walk, talk or see.
“The most important part of Mienke’s brain was damaged. She has severe brain damage. According to the neurologist and her doctor, Mienke will be disabled for the rest of her life.
“She will not be able to walk, run, see or talk! She is so small and innocent and has her entire life ahead of her.
“I want to hear your laugh again when I tickle you and pull faces, you must still walk downstairs, ride a bike and kick a ball with your sisters, but God has the last word,” she wrote in the post.
