They know their routines very well
Gymnastics teaches children self-discipline, self-confidence, coordination and improves concentration.

Hazyview Gymnastic Club members are currently practising their routines for the Eldoraigne Prep competition for level 1 to 3 boys and girls, that will take place on May 4 and 5.
Other competitions to follow for 2018 include:
• Nelspruit Mpumalanga 1: May 18 and 19
• Ermelo Mpumalanga 2: June 1 and 2
• North Zone: June 14 to 16
Coach Lynn Wallace says she is satisfied with the progress of the gymnasts.

Wallace lives her dream of being a gymnast and having her own club. In 2015 she got the opportunity to take over as owner of Hazyview Gymnastic Club from Amanda de Lange.
Wallace has coached for nine years with other qualified coaches. She has her WAG level 2 judge and MAG level 2 cadet qualifications.
Hazyview Gymnastic Club specialises in artistic gymnastics, with gymnasts performing on four apparatuses – floor, beam, uneven bars and vault.
Wallace’s mission is to provide quality gymnastics and dance programmes to children. “Gymnastics teaches them self-discipline, self-confidence, endurance, coordination, body and spatial awareness, fine and large motor skills and also improves concentration ability,” Wallace said. “It is an ultimate sport.”
She has also started coaching at nursery schools in Sabie and Skukuza. She takes different gymnastics apparatuses to the schools to make the coaching as fun and interesting as possible.
