Disruptions of water supply in White River expected
Residents are urged to use water sparingly to accommodate everyone for the duration of the disruptions.
Residents of Bundu, Phumlani and White River should take note that water supply will be interrupted on Thursday August 30 between 05:00 and 18:00.
The City of Mbombela Local Municipality Much needed maintenance work has to be done on the auto pedigree air-valve from Boschrand pump station in the White River augmentation scheme.
On Monday another notice issued by the municipality warned that the canal supplying bulk raw water to the town would be closed for maintenance on Wednesday August 29, therefore a shortage of water during the closure may be experienced.
On this day the White River Irrigation Board would do maintenance on the canal with only the Sand River bulk scheme supplying raw water to the plant during this time.
Residents are urged to use water sparingly to accommodate everyone for the duration of the disruptions.
