The Presidency announced on Thursday evening that Mabuza was to attend the official opening of the Mpumalanga Show this morning.

The four-day event showcases agriculture, forestry, tourism, wildlife, mining and energy. It takes place at Mbombela Stadium this weekend.

After leaving reporters waiting for about two hours, the office of the presidency was unclear when Mabuza would arrive.
