Rob pupils show their creativity

The competition encourages learners to develop their talent while giving them the opportunity to display their art.

Several pupils from Hoërskool Rob Ferreira recently excelled in the annual FET Visual Arts and Design Competition held in Mbombela.

They are Azura Jackson, Shaiyanne Smith, Tinèle Esterhuizen, Danèl Verwey, Melissa Steyn, Zanè Dodkins, Lara Jansen van Rensburg, Palesa Mokwena and Chandrè Swanepoel.

This competition is compulsory for all schools that teach visual arts or design as subjects.

On July 24 the best entries from the learners were exhibited.

The theme was “Boxed Beautiful”. The competition encourages learners to develop their talent while giving them the opportunity to display their art.

According to Rob’s art teacher Marinda Loock, the standard for this competition is extremely high and the school is immensely proud of its pupils’ achievements.
