White River too much for Swazi Cheetahs

White River Rugby Club hosted a rugby day at their home ground last weekend.

First the WR 3 Rockstars tackled a team from Ngodwana, but were defeated 12-17. After that the WR 2 Sables shared the field with Bosveld 1.

Although the home team trailed until after half time, they came back strongly in the second half to win 28-27.

Eventually, after a very long delay, it was time for WR 1 to meet Cheetahs 1 from Swaziland.

After an exciting day of friendly rugby, all players are expected to be at the practice this week, since there will be more trials, according to Werner Doyle.
