Robbery suspect granted R300 bail
A car washer accused of robbery appeared in the Nelspruit Magistrate's Court on Friday.

During the court appearance it was argued that while Selby Lemy Shube is in custody, he is costing the state R50 per day. It was also argued on behalf of the accused that he should be released on a warning, meaning he would not have to pay for bail.
The bail was set at R300 and he allegedly committed robbery in the city.
Magistrate Boitumelo Mosadi said robbery is prevalent in the Lowveld, which is why she did not release him.
His case was postponed to November 5; so the state can provide the defence with the contents of the docket.
