Mpumalanga Bubbly & Lifestyle Experience coming up

The inaugural Mpumalanga Bubbly & Lifestyle Experience will take place on November 30 and December 1 at the Lowveld National Botanical Garden in Mbombela.

This event promises to be an unintimidating dress-up, sparkling wine, MCC and wine tasting show that brings a new generation of trendsetters together.

A garden art and craft gallery will be on display on the day, creating a platform for upcoming artists to showcase and sell their craft. Described as “polo without the horses”, it will be a signature event that caters to the thousands of influential businessmen and -women, government officials, upward mobile individuals, news-makers, celebrities, trendsetters and the media in a world-class event that will offer a showcase of all things bubbly and beautiful.

Presented by Bakgatla Tourism Development, owned by Oupa Pilane, they hope that the event will become part of the Mpumalanga Cultural Experience Festival hosted by the Department of Culture, Sports and Recreation.

“The province has seen a drop in the number of tourists, and these events serve as a catalyst to attract people to visit Mpumalanga, in particular the city of Mbombela,” Pilane said.

“We are pleased to have an association with the Department of Culture, Sports and Recreation and the Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency, and view the event as having huge potential to expand the visitor economy.”

Guests will be spoiled for choice with fine bubbles, music, fast cars, art, festive food and a red carpet to show off their outfits from some of the most revered local brands. Different sparkling wine and wine brands will be available for tasting, including craft beers.

Tickets will be available at Computicket at R250 general, R400 VIP and R1 500 VVIP access.
