Community members share their love and longing for the KNP
South Africa has been in a nationwide lockdown for about two months. Although the lockdown level has switched from five to four, easing some restrictions, South Africans may still not visit the Kruger National Park, and so shared their longing for the park on SANParks' social media.
Many community members have taken to the Kruger National Park’s Twitter page to share their feelings of longing for the Kruger National Park (KNP), and say they cannot wait to visit once the restrictions have been lifted.
South Africans come to the KNP from near and far, and all for the same reason. The KNP runs in every South African’s blood.
A long, leisurely drive with the windows down, spotting wild with loved ones, has become something of a family tradition for most.

Kruger National Park is definitely one of my happy places 😊. I will for sure go back more of the goodness. Thank you so much for all the amazing work you do to protect these beautiful animals and their habitat. ❤️ #MondayMotivation #LiveYourWild pic.twitter.com/PZcL3OyW6I
