IN PHOTOS: Nelspruit Concerned Citizens hard at work after heavy rain
The group has been attending to issues since last night when the effects of the rain could be seen in and around the city.
Nelspruit Concerned Citizens (NCC) has been cleaning up in and around Mbombela since yesterday.
One of the group’s main focus points has been streets in which trees had fallen over due to heavy rain.
Yesterday, the following areas were attended to:
• Sheppard Drive
• Kaapscehoop Road
• Kamagugu (road behind MMC)
• Golden Drive.
This morning, Lefpa and the City of Mbombela Local Municipality joined in on the operation, and tackled these streets:
• Geelhout Avenue
• Du Preez Street
• Van Wijk Steet.
