‘Love is a Dangerous Drug’ opens at White River Gallery
Renowned artist John-Anthony Boerma's exhibition, "Love is a Dangerous Drug", at the White River Gallery will be showcased until May 23.
The solo exhibition of ceramics opened on Saturday at 16:00.
According to Dana MacFarlane, director of the White River Gallery, 120 people attended the opening.

MacFarlane, as well as Justice Edward Cameron, had the opportunity to address the guests before the exhibition was opened to the public.
“We followed strict Covid-19-protocols, and allowed the guests in groups of 20 to enter the gallery,” she said.

The exhibition centres around the theme of love, MacFarlane stated.
“This broad theme has quite the reach and resonated with a lot of guests,” she said. “That is also why it was so well received.”
MacFarlane added that Boerma was overwhelmed by the extremely positive feedback the exhibition has gathered.

“He will be available for walkabouts on May 22 at 11:00 before the exhibition closes the following day,” she said.
