Uplands celebrates Ascension Day
Uplands Preparatory hosted an Ascension Day celebration on May 13 with its Webster House as the backdrop.
“It was the first time we have been able, as a senior preparatory school (grades four to seven), to come together as one for a chapel service in over 14 months, due to our Covid-19 regulations,” Jenny Simons, marketing assistant of Uplands, said.
According to Simons, 214 pupils attended.
“The service was led by Fr Andrew and the grade seven sacristans,” she said.
“It was wonderful to be able to worship, praise God and to share His Body in fellowship with one another.”
