Hoërskool Barberton closed due to Covid
Hoërskool Barberton will be closed today after pupils tested positive for Covid-19 following a party.

Hoërskool Barberton has told its learners and teachers to stay home today to curb the spread of the virus.
In a video posted on the school’s Facebook page, principal Pieter Ferreira said no academic activities will take place after several learners tested positive.
According to Ferreira, 31 Barberton learners attended parties last weekend whereafter some tested positive for the virus. “The school has been forced to shut down to stop the spread.”
