PHOTOS AND RESULTS: MP Winter Short Course champs at Curro
Swimmers from various clubs were back in the pool this past weekend for this years MP Winter Short Course champions held at Curro on Friday and Saturday.
Participants from Midwit Swimming Club, Curro Swimming Academy, Uniswim, Estralita School, Guppie Tigers and Lts, Nelspruit Swimming Academy Dev, Seals Asc and Extreme Aquatics competed.
In both the boys’ and girls’ divisions, Curro’s combined team’s score saw them top the rankings on the day. The junior boys scored 1 810 points and the girls 1 525.
In the senior category, it was the visitors from MidWit who took home the most points with 1 742.5, followed by Curro with 1 462 points and Uniswim on 1 419.5.
The best junior girl was Zoe Morgado from Curro and the best junior boy was teammate Eben Obermeyer. Former Lowvelder, Mikaela Goelst, who now belong to Seals Asc, was the best senior girl and the best senior boy was Henning Radley from Nelspruit Swimming Academy.
