The Kaapsehoop Road is now open following a temporary closure due to a a crane overturning on the road. The D799 was closed from 08:00 for the recovery of a crane that had overturned yesterday, leaving the crane driver seriously injured.
It had been estimated that the road would be closed for six hours.
