Valiant Swart delights at The Pub

Audience members watching him said they enjoyed every moment of the performance and could not wait until he was back in the Lowveld.

Music lovers were treated to the bluesy tunes of Afrikaans folk-rock musician Valiant Swart at The Pub on Friday November 12.

Audience members waited in anticipation for the start of his performance at 19:30.

A hearty round of applause from an excited crowd, including wolf whistles and shouts of appreciation followed him after each of his songs.

The musician also dedicated one of his songs to his late friend and singer, Piet Botha.

Piet, Valiant, Mel Botes, Robin Auld and the Akkedis brothers, Arthur and Rudolph Dennis had formed a rock band called The Riders.
