Eight suspects sought for business robbery in Rocky Drift
The White River SAPS is investigating a case of business robbery after eight males robbed Budget Auto in Rocky Drift on Saturday.
Budget Auto vehicle dealership was robbed on Saturday morning at around 11:00.
The suspects stole three vehicles, including a white Toyota Land Cruiser, registration JZS 775 MP, a grey Toyota Prado v6, registration CAA 279632, and a white Toyota Hilux double-cab, registration CY 226300.

According to the information received by the White River SAPS, the victim, an employee, was in the toilet when the security guard called him and told him some people had come in who wanted to buy a vehicle.
He went to the office and found four males there.
According to the SAPS statement, “They asked him about an Isuzu that was previously being sold. He told them that it was sold, but that he could get them another one.
“One of the males took out a firearm and told him not to move, or he would be shot. They instructed him to look down and lie down on the floor.

“He heard someone coming into the office. When he looked over, he saw they were swearing at the security officer and they pushed him down to the floor as well.”
One suspect asked for the keys to a Prado and was told they were with the owner.
“The suspects told them to stand up, pushed them into the toilet and continued asking for the keys. He told them the keys were in a bag in the office and they took him there and found it.”
Both the man and the security guard were tied up separately. When it grew quite outside, the man called out to the guard who managed to free himself and then came to his aid as well.
They ran outside to ask for assistance as soon as they were both free.
