Doctor shares her passion for books with youngsters

Dr Lebogang Sengani visited Lesodi Primary School in Lydenburg on Friday June 10.

She donated about 400 books for the children in grades one to three. This is only one of the schools she will be visiting. Laerskool Lydenburg and Thaba Chweu Boarding School will also receive donations.

“Children of all ages learn to develop stronger focus while reading, increasing intelligence and creativity. Diving into great books creates more awareness of the world around them. I hope this donation will inspire the children to read for their leisure, too, so they do not just pick up a book for schoolwork,” said Sengani.

William Pashwane, the principal of Lesodi Primary School, thanked Sengani and her administrator, Luambo Sengani, for their visit and the donation to the Lydenburg Family Clinic.
