FTLM has new testing station

The station is fitted with state-of-the art equipment for vehicle testing and inspections.

Residents from Fetakgomo Tubatse’s Ga-Nchabeleng Village were delighted to see the opening of a new traffic station in their area.

“We are no longer going to travel long distances to make bookings for driver’s licences,” they said.

The Fetakgomo Tubatse Local Municipality (FTLM) said it was pleased to announce that the Mabopo Testing
Station accepted drivers licence bookings, and conducted the first driving tests last Wednesday.

New driver’s licence to be issued at the station was Boiketlo Mokgophi’s.

The opening of Mabopo Testing Station was overseen by the chief whip of the FTLM council, Cllr Vincent Shoba, and executive committee members Cllrs Owen Mashego, Release Radingwana, Mashego Maria, Khudu Mokome and Moshate wa Tau Nchabeleng.

The station is fitted with state-of-the art equipment for vehicle testing and inspections.

The traffic station offer services such as testing for learner’s and driver’s licences, professional driving permits and many more.

“This is not an achievement for the municipality only, but for all residents,” said Mokgophi.
