2022 Mpumalanga Cultural Carnival Xperience brings colour to Mbombela

It was a fun-filled day as the public witnessed this much-loved event.

The streets of Mbombela came to life with colour when the Carnival Xperience was held at the Promenade Shopping Centre today, December 2.

This much-celebrated seventh annual Mpumalanga Cultural Xperience displayed various talented artists.

The public came out in numbers to witness it. The Department of Culture, Sports and Recreation (DCSR) hosted the first instalment of the festival on Saturday November 26 with the Traditional Xperience: Bakgatla Ba Moepi Traditional Council, Nkangala District. The DCSR has planned eight stupendous shows.

The next event will be the Choral Xperience at Elukwatini Community Hall on Saturday December 3. After this is the Soul Session Xperience on Sunday December 4.

This will be followed by the Film Festival Xperience, the International Xperience, the Marathon Xperience, and the last event will be the Gospel Music Awards.
