Twins part of 16 New Year’s babies in greater Burgersfort region

Gift hampers were distributed in commemoration of the newborns

On the first day of 2023, Sunday January 1, a hospital and a clinic in the greater Burgersfort region celebrated the births of 16 babies.
St Ritas Hospital in the Makhuduthamaga Local Municipality (MLM) welcomed six girls and one boy.

Three girls and six boys were delivered at Jane Furse Clinic in the Sekhukhune District Municipality (SDM). Two of the newborn boys are twins.
Tge mothers were gifted hampers, which included diapers, clothes, a baby bath and toiletries.
Rodgers Monama, the MEC for the Limpopo Department of Economic Development, Environment and Tourism, was joined by Minah Bahula, the mayor of MLM.
Councillors of SDM, Mphelane Judy Nkgadima and Mosedi Thamaga, accompanied the delegation at both the hospital and clinic.
Everyone congratulated the new mothers and medical professionals.
