Mbombela man escapes hail of bullets unscathed

Armed suspects opened fire on his vehicle and robbed him of a large amount of cash.

According to Emer-G-Med, a local man was lucky to escape unharmed when he was shot at and robbed outside the Elawini Lifestyle Estate today, November 29.

“Paramedics arrived on the scene to find the man seated in a luxury motor vehicle which had been peppered with high-calibre bullets.
A closer examination revealed that the man sustained no wounds,” said a statement from Emer-G-Med.

“Reports from the scene alleged that the man had been followed from a bank and was stopped by an unknown number of armed suspects who shot at his vehicle, before robbing him of a large amount of money.”
