Mbombela families had a fun-filled day at a family picnic event complete with water slides and bouncy castles.

It was a day filled with fun in the Lowveld sunshine for the families who recently gathered at the Nutting House Lodge for the Nelspruit Family Picnic with Colour event.

With picnic blankets, camping chairs and cooler boxes dotting the grounds, the children were able to enjoy a host of activities with their friends in a foam pit and water slide, multiple bouncy castles and a swimming pool.

There was certainly no shortage of fun for the parents either, who were able to buy some food from a few stalls set up on the grounds, and listened to a steady flow of music throughout the day.
