Supercar fleet raises thousands for Grace Baby Haven in Mbombela
R45 000 was raised during this recent tour. The money will go towards the Grace Baby Haven, which cares for babies who were abused, neglected and abandoned.

The Lazarus Motor Company raised R45 000 for Grace Baby Haven during their Lowveld tour from March 21 to 24.
More than 20 Ford Mustangs travelled from Pretoria to the Lowveld, creating a stunning spectacle that caught the attention of many.
According to the tour’s organiser, Saydi Barbosa, the purpose was not only to showcase the power and beauty of these cars, but also to show support for local towns and communities and to raise much-needed funds for the charity.

“We visited several towns in the region: Dullstroom, Sabie, Pilgrim’s Rest, White River, Mbombela and Kaapsehoop, spreading joy and positivity along the way. We raised roughly R45 000 for Grace Baby Haven in Mbombela, demonstrating the power of generosity. This event was a heart-warming display of the community’s beauty and kindness,” she said.

Barbosa added that the organisers of Motorsport Promoters felt privileged to host such a remarkable event. She also thanked everyone who came to meet them and donated money towards the charity. “We believe that the money will make a difference to the centre, and we also firmly believe that these towns will see many more events in the future.”
Grace Baby Haven’s director, Justin Grobbler, said they welcomed this donation as it will make a difference in the organisation. He said to run the centre, they need a lot of money, which they sometimes do not have since they are not funded by government. “We take care of babies who were abandoned, abused or neglected. They need nappies, formula and food, and that cost a lot. So this money will help us to take care of those things. We are calling all local businesses to support us where they can so that we can take care of these kids,” he said.
