Die Piesangskille and Lila Swift recently kept the audience jiving with their performances as they performed some Afrikaans and English songs.

While most of us slip on banana peels, it was just the opposite at Mustangs – The Dancing Place on March 23, when Die Piesangskille saw Afrikaans music lovers perform some intricate dance moves to their tunes.

This popular venue in Mbombela was packed to capacity as Lila Swift did what she is best known for, making music to move the feet. Her two songs, “Net ’n bietjie tyd” en “Gap jaar”, saw the crowd pack the dancing floor.

Her rendition of Shania Twain’s “Any Man of Mine” and Demi Lee Moore’s “Heartbreak” wowed the crowds.

Swift said she was overwhelmed by how much the guests had enjoyed her music and the fact that she could share the stage with this well-known band.

Die Piesangskille outdid themselves, performing their most popular songs, spicing it up with their unique dance moves and interacting with the audience.
