The search for a hijacked vehicle from Mhala led to the recovery of the car in the Calcutta Policing Precinct on Friday night, March 29, as well as the discovery of explosives, some stun grenades, a revolver and ammunition.
A VW Polo had been hijacked on March 23, and according to AG Solutions’ Albert Gryvenstein, some information received led his reaction officer, Gawie de Wet, to a house in Calcutta where the car was reportedly being stored. When De Wet found it, he called on the Calcutta police and Spesplan Security to come to the scene.

He said the investigation is still ongoing and no one has been arrested yet.
