Lowvelder’s Got Talent gains momentum

The Lowvelder's Got Talent show is gaining traction, judging from the number of kids entering the competition. The next audition will be held at i’langa Mall on April 20.

The Lowvelder’s Got Talent (LGT) show is gaining momentum as more young people are entering the competition.

According to Candice Paterson, one of the organisers, about 70 children entered the competition at i’langa Mall on Saturday April 13.

“Scouting this weekend was a great success, and we had a wonderful turnout of participants excited to take part in this year’s finals. Locally, this event is gaining a lot of respect due to its success stories over the past season, with many participants eager to get more involved,” she said.

She also said LGT is providing a platform for kids to showcase their talents in acting, dancing, modelling or singing. It creates exposure and possible opportunities for them. She encourages all models, dancers, actors and singers to attend the auditions for five- to 19-year-olds. All genders are welcome.

The next audition will again be held at i’langa Mall on April 20, and the final day of the show is at Communio Church on June 8.
